Four Dorsiflexion Mobility Exercises
- Ankle Dorsiflexion Stretch: Kneel and tuck your toes under, then sit back on your heels. Feel the stretch in the front of your ankles. Hold for 20-30 seconds and repeat a few times.
- Calf Stretch Against a Wall: Stand facing a wall, place your hands on it, and step one foot back. Keep both heels on the ground and lean forward, feeling the calf stretch. Hold for 20-30 seconds on each side.
- Calf Raises: Stand on a stage with your heels dangling off the edge. Lower your heels down for dorsiflexion, then rise on your toes. Perform three sets of 10-15 repetitions.
- Resistance Band Dorsiflexion: Sit with extended legs, wrap a resistance band around your feet, and hold the ends. Point your toes and then flex your feet against the band’s resistance. Perform three sets of 15-20 repetitions.
